The almost-flat upper part gives a clean stop to your carabiner, while the lower part, with its conical shape, allows your lanyard cable to be \u201cexpelled\u201d towards the outside, with no grip to get it stuck. Following our prototype tests, we chose a diameter wider than a tennis ball\u2019s (75mm vs 65mm).
